Mario Humberto Kazaz’s art is driven by his interests in perception, movement, embodied experience, and feelings of self. He strives to make the concerns of art relevant to society at large. Art, for him, is a crucial means for turning thinking into doing in the world. born in 1984, in Monterrey,Mexico. He grew up in Texas and self-taught art that was later blended into a style that he developed from a graffiti movement he joined at an early age. He currently works from his studio in the Montrose area, a region in the city of Houston. Currently he works in large scale paintings that are inspired by the neo-culture of this new interconnected world of today.
